✨ My Frequency Tools
I recently treated myself to two new frequency tools — the Holos from Red Health and a set of Otto tuning forks.

The Holos is a PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) device, which means it uses low-level electromagnetic waves to gently interact with the body’s cells and nervous system. PEMF has been studied for its ability to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and help the body return to a more balanced state. For those of us navigating autoimmune disease, this is huge — because by directly calming and regulating the nervous system, PEMF can help ease stress-driven flares and support immune balance.

The Holos actually runs full-time — literally around the clock — which feels poetic, given that I’m also working full-time at my day job and then clocking several more “overtime” hours into the night getting Autoimmune 411 off the ground. If the Holos had a timecard, I’d probably owe it back pay 🕒.

The very first effect I noticed? It nudged me into taking fuller breaths. Not subtle, either — my body was like, “hey, inhale all the way down here, thank you very much.” For someone who catches herself shallow breathing (or worse, half-holding her breath) when stressed, this was huge. That gentle reminder to breathe fully felt like my nervous system exhaling right along with me — calm, grounding, and almost immediate.

The Otto tuning forks are another favorite. Certain frequencies directly resonate with the thyroid and surrounding tissues — but they don’t stop there. The vibrations ripple through the nervous and immune systems, encouraging balance, lymphatic flow, and overall regulation. It’s like giving your body a tuning session, reminding it how to find harmony again 🎶.
